WWYD flu shot
If your DC were turning 6 months in January, would you have him/her get the flu shot now, or just wait out this flu season and get the shot at the beginning of next season?

Re: WWYD flu shot
Happened to us last year, and DS got it. My ped said flu season can last through April (or May?), so best to get any immunity that you can!

Yes, I would. I believe the first time you also have to get the booster as well. I know Mason did last year so he only got it once this year. He was shy of 6 months and the Ped suggested doing it so we did

I am in the same boat. DD just turned 6 months and is getting it next week. She is also starting daycare soon, which played into my decision.

Re: WWYD flu shot
DS will be 6 months on Monday & is scheduled to get the flu shot tuesday. I asked my Ped at the last visit & he said since the flu season is technically at its highest now & since DS was a preemie, that he most certainly recommeded we do it
