WWYD Shower gift
Please no flaming.
I’ll try and make a long story short. I used to work with this girl for 2 or so years. When we worked together she was one of the girls that helped and chipped in on my work baby shower. Now she hasn’t worked in our office for several months now, but stops in once in a blue moon. Well I heard she was pregnant, and I want to get her a gift, but I feel awkward getting her one, bc I was recently informed she was never a fan of me. But I feel she did a good deed for my baby, that I should do the same for her baby. Despite if she likes me or not. But other coworkers think that I shouldn’t get her anything. So would you get her a gift or no?

Personally, regardless of how this person felt about me, if I wanted to get them a gift, I would.

If I knew someone didn't like me I wouldn't get them a gift... BUT I think you should verify that somehow.. was this just a rumor? Maybe clear the air with her to see what's up and then re-think it all.

I would still get her a small gift. You don't know the real story unless you hear it from her yourself imo. Do you have any reason to think she never liked you other than ppl saying that?
