Re: Hair/Salon Question....

You got your hair done on Monday right? When I get my hair highlighted it always gets lighter after several washes. I would give it a few more days.

Re: Hair/Salon Question....

I just did! My lowlights came out looking like I was a skunk head due to the way she colored, cut and styled. I hated it. She charged me to add more highlights but at a fraction of the price. It stinks when this happens. I hope maybe you can talk her into a huge discount at leastChat Icon

At least you got a discount!

This isn't even my colorist salon, and shes making such a big deal out of it, like telling me if my fault (like I colored it)......I mean it doesn't look bad at all, I love the color but its just a b itch to blow dry on top to really see the low-lites come through, I guess I will just have to blow dry the hell out of it!Chat Icon

Re: Hair/Salon Question....

After years and years of getting highlights, I've only gone back 2x and both times I did NOT have to pay a dime.

If I were you, I would talk to the owner of the salon. Maybe if you explain that you've been coming to their shop for years and usually love how your hair comes out...but this time it just isn't what you expected....they will fix it. It's bad business not to. You paid a lot of money...you should be happy with the results.

Do you really think the products they used for your lowlights were worth even a fraction of the $170 you spent???? No way! They can do it over for FREE.

ITA with you! I said the same thing to my DH, I'm going to call the owner in the morning and talk to him!
