Yep - my boss's wife always gives us Macys gift cards around the holiday and I've put it toward furniture more than once.

Please do thorough research on the dining set before you buy it. You can go on their site and check out reviews of the set you are looking to buy...
DH and I were going to buy a couch from them and the 2 that we were looking at got some seriously bad reviews. Everyone had the same thing to say...regarding the cushions and the frames cracking etc. On some items there are a lot of reviews so see if your set is there....
