just chocolate chips, no bananas. But the original recipe is just diet soda and cake mix.

Well as I was cleaning up a container of flour that spilled everywhere I realized that what i thought was devils food brownie mix was actually cake mix. So I made the cupcakes. They turned out well - I added chocolate chips too (thanks to you ), the bites with them are so much better
i would still love the recipe!

1/3 cup butter, softened 1/2 cup sugar 1 large egg 1 large ripe banana, mashed 1/2 tsp vanilla extract 1 cup flour 1 tsp baking powder 1/4 tsp salt 1/8 tsp baking soda 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the egg, banana and vanilla. Combine the flour, baking powder, salt and baking soda. Add to the butter mixture and mix well. Stir in chocolate chips. Drop by tablespoon, 2" apart onto coated baking sheets. Bake at 350 for 9-11 minutes. The cookie batter is going to be thin and the consistency of the cookies is more like a muffin top...they are very yummy. Yield if you measure properly is 2doz. These cookies are lucky if they last an hour in my house. They are worth 1pt each. Enjoy!
