The Salvation Army will - but only if the items are in good condition.

St Vincent DePaul does pick ups on Mondays Wednesdays and Fridays.

Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Nassau Co. You can call and they pick up quickly (no one has to be home)
Also, United Cerbral Palsy, I believe, also takes donations.

The Lupus foundation does, they just came and picked up all of our left overs from our garage sale, the only thing they didn't take was 2 head boards and 1 foot board

The Veterans also has a pickup service. However I left a decent couch, great condition but not new and they came and took about a 3 sec look and left!!
