X-Post from NWR: Wishing Well/Shower Question... Thoughts?
My best friend and her partner are having a baby shower tomorrow-- I have never been to a baby shower as none of my friends have had them-- just baby namings, etc.
I was just checking the invite and it says, "please share in our wishing well". Now, I know this is supposed to be a little gift, but I got them a TON of stuff off their registry-- from useful to cute items and put it all in a pretty basket. Do I just take one little thing out for the WW, or not even bother to "share"? I feel like any one of these items individually can be a WW gift.
I am also making them a baby book-- with "baby first" templates.... so, it's not like I am skimping at all.

Not everyone buys wishing well stuff, so I wouldn't worry if you already put your gift together. No one will know the difference, and like I said, not everyone gives a wishing well gift.

cool-- thanks. That's what I wanted to know. They are getting a lot from me-- and will prob get more when the babies get here. Doesn't matter where the gifts go per se.
