Which plain white Gerber cloth diapers are the best/ most absorbent ones for burp cloths? I want to make sure I have the right ones on my registry. TIA

Get the Gerber Premium 6ply Prefold. They're great. Make sure it says Prefold -- the others aren't as good!

Get as many as you can from the hospital. We came home with a dozen of them....Never had to buy any...

I never got the hype about this. I just used receiving blankets, they worked great.

this is absolutely true!!! The ones that aren't the Prefold don't have the really absorbent panel in the middle. We have a few of both, and the regular ones aren't nearly as absorbent!
But they are GREAT, my DD was a HUGE spitter-upper and they always caught EVERYTHING!
