Re: X-post from pregnancy since I posted on the wrong board...
DS was born January 7th. The cons for me were being pregnant over Christmas, I could not travel since I was 39 weeks pregnant, it was cold a rainy here in Nashville, so I could not go outside for walks. I did take DS to the mall to walk around, I am not one to keep baby at home for the first 6 weeks, so it was not an issue for me.
Pros: DS is loving the pool, I can take him to the beach and he will have fun when I come up to New York, Christmas this year will be a blast, I don't look horrible and feel semi okay in a bathing suit, which I would have hated to wear summer clothes after having DS.
After this experience I don't think I want to have a baby during the summer. Especially since a V-bac is not guaranteed and I don't want another C-section and be stuck inside for the summer.

Re: X-post from pregnancy since I posted on the wrong board...
DC was born September 10th.
Pros: It was still beautiful out when he was just born so I was able to take him out for walks, and not be cooped up all day. Now for the summer, he is at an age where he can really enjoy the nice weather.
It may be a con for some, it wasn't for me, but I was HUGE in the August heat. I was able to go to the beach everyday so it didn't really bother me, I would just float around in the water all day. If I was pregnant with my second DC during this part of the summer it would have been harder, I'm sure.
