X-Post* Is it a bad idea...
I have some coupons for diapers, formula, wipes etc that all expire before my due date.
Is it a bad idea to stock up now??
Is it hard to exchange formula if my Dr recommends or baby needs something different than what I buy??
TIA!!

i wouldn't buy formula, because it could change. you can buy diapers and wipes they are always returnable.

I would stock up on the diapers but not too much on the small sizes. They grow fairly fast. Buy a few on each.
We plan on doing that within the last 2 months before DD when we see coupons/deals on diapers.
I am not sure about formula. The pediatrician may want you to use a different formula that you bought.

If you are getting the formula for free with the coupons, then I see no reason to not stock up. I've been doing that. If you can't use it after the baby comes, then you aren't out anything and you can maybe give it to someone that can use it.

We've already started to stock up on diapers and wipes. I agree with the other suggestions to be careful on the sizes. We tried not to go crazy with the smaller sizes. It's true that we won't really know what the will work best until our babies are here but I see no problem in using your coupons for the diapers and wipes. Eventually you are going to try those brands anyway so might as well take advantage of a sale. Same with wipes in m opinion. We stocked up on the costco brand and personally - if the baby doesn't react well to them it's no biggie in my opinion. They are still great to clean up with and DH and I will use them. I use them now when I get a spill on my clothes - those things are great! Plu our entire family uses them for their kids so we could pass them on if we don't want them.

I try to do this too. But in different sizes. Although it has been pointed out to me that we won't know what will work best for the baby, but it can't hurt to have them on hand.
