I am a degreed meteorologist. I used to be the on-air 'weather babe' as DH's friends used to call me. But for many other reasons I took a different path in TV. My DH is also a meteorologist. He was the smart one that didn't go into TV.

If the LIRR isn't running I would be thrilled....then I'd have a major reason not to be able to get to work considering Bloomberg doesn't believe in snow days for NYC schools!

Ohhhh yeah I've been kept abreast of the situation, at great length  No really, it is super helpful, but still.
If the man wasn't so exhausted tonight, I know he'd be going outside about 10 times just to "check things out".
