x-post--paint help

We are getting ready to paint our sons' rooms and I really need help with paint ideas. I am going to post both of their bedding sets. I would like to do different colors other than blue, any suggestions? THanks!!

The first is my oldest sons bedding, and the last is my youngest sons.

ETA: They each have their own room

I will do blue, but I just feel like the bedding is sooo blue, I didn't want it to be too much.

Re: x-post--paint help

For the first room I would do something close to this color

Its BM Sandy White

Im not sure about the second room but it may work for that one as well.

OK, i get it now.. .yea, this poster picked the perfect color for the first room.
the second, i would do 1/2 wainscotting and 1/2 blue that would perfectly match the bedding.
that is, if you like matchy-matchy.

Great color for the first room or darker if you want.

And the second room would look so cute with the wainscotting in white and a blue that either matches or compliments the blue in the bedding.

Here maybe this Google search of pics will give you some inspiration.

Re: x-post--paint help

or how about stripes on the lower half for the 2nd room. You could do the same thing for the 1st room also, but with blue and tan.

I found a blue & tan room. It's just for inspiration, I know the older one isn't a baby. HTH!

Re: x-post--paint help

i would suggest the wainscoating too..and the tan...i just used barely beige....and my friend just used sepia tan (both BM)...and sepia tan would match the star in the third picture...it looks like an orangey yellow color...it's really nice....
