ETA: You can select up to 5 pairs to try on at home and then send them back within 5 days of receipt. They give you a shipping label to send them back. Once you select a pair to purchase, you either give them your prescription or your doctor's info and they'll call and get the prescription.

Zenni Optical. Inexpensive, good quality and fast service.
You can get a $20 eye exam with Cohen Optical and use the prescription to get glasses at Zenni.
I just spent less than $100 on 2 pairs of glasses anti scratch protection, UV protection, case, cleaning cloth and photochromic lenses. One pair (for my younger son) had to include extra strength lenses because of a severe astigmatism.. but I was thrilled. We had been spending over 200 per pair for my older son for YEARS!
My husband's glasses were 35 dollars!

Thanks for the options! I forgot to mention that I have a very strong prescription and a bad astigmatism, so I end up always spending a fortune so I can get the lenses thinner.
