Re: X-Post: Would you rather something of Registry...

I am torn

I like it cause it is different
And I like giving things that are different

but...
When it comes to clothes - I feel they grow out of them soooo fast - that I hate giving clothes - I would rather give something that they can use over and over

But that is me

I think they are beautiful and different, but not a lot for the money. Plus if I got that I'd never think it cost $70.

Honestly if you are willing to spend $70+ it may be money better spent on her registry. If you want to do something different, maybe do something small from the registry and something small that's unique.

I just know I really needed stuff that was practical since I had nothing.

eta: I got a lot of clothing that wasn't my taste and my DD never wore. It was kind of a waste.

Not me, I woul rather have something like that baby bunch, something that I might not spend the money on. IMO a gift is something that you don't need, that makes it nicer!!!

I think thats adorable and I would have loved to receive that!

Personally, I don't buy off of registries...(all hate me now)

I would get something off the registry. While I love the bunch and think it's totally adorable and would definately appreciate it, I think you are right...they may not appreciate it as much for that price.
