We used to go every year with my family. We would stay in this great condo that was on the golf course with an indoor and outdoor pool
We stayed here at this place in Brewster - Ocean Edge Resort (we stayed in the condos). It was not far from Chatham - and a nice drive to go whale watching etc - there were places to rent bikes not far away for families to go riding on trails.

We stayed at Chatham Bars Inn last fall - it is so beautiful there - the grounds are beautiful, there's a tennis court, you're right on the beach, you can walk into town and there are a ton of activities. The only thing is its a little pricey in the summer - but there are other places nearby you could stay. Here are some pictures:

Re: XP: Cape Cod
Depending on how long you go, it might be better to rent a house than stay in a hotel. If you stay for a week, look into it. It turns out to be cheaper in the long run. But if you do, I would look into renting asap because that is a prime time to go and the more you wait, the more expensive the house/condo.

My sister goes there 2xs a year! She was just there last weekend for Easter. The kids just love it there.
The Chatham Bars Inn looks gorgeous too

I agree. I love Cape Cod. MIL has a house in Chatham, and DH and I love to go a couple of times each summer. I think Chatham is one of the nicest areas and definitely worth visiting/staying there. Chatham Bars Inn is $$$, but is really beautiful.
