XP from career, I know I know, but I need answers!!!!
There's a specific company I would like to interview with, and they have a ton of positions available.
they keep posting positions, but the old ones remain, leading me to believe they haven't been filled.
I also found out from someone that they are restructuring.....which could be putting interviewing on the back burner. But seriously, there are job listings from December!
So my questions is, how many times is too many to apply, and how many positions?

I would apply in different way and also get their number and call HR. Ask them about all the open positions and that you are very interested. how can they help you?

When I was changing jobs I applied to Symbol, and literally got a call a YEAR LATER to come in for an interview! Of course I already had another job and said no...

My friend had a similar situation with a NY Times ad. She finally called the company & asked for the HR director. They interviewed her immediately. WHen they finally offered her the position, it was because of her "follow-up" skills.

There was a job I recently applied to for the third time - in my cover letter I noted that I applied in the past but this is why I feel I'd be good....I did finally get a call.
I've also applied to several postings at one company that was restructuring - if you can, I think it would be good to call HR, if not, apply for a few jobs and maybe make mention that you are open to various jobs if your skills are tranferrable and you really want to work there, something like that.
Good luck!
