If you go to the PROMPT institute's website, you can put in your zipcode and they will locate PROMPT therapists that are in your area, and their phone numbers. If you call the therapists themselves they can tell you if they do home visits or not. They also can sometimes connect you to someone they know.

There are three levels of PROMPT training. The first level consists of a workshop or two (PROMPT TRAINED), then the second level is BRIDGE ..which means the therapist has had the full training but hasn't done the 'video" for their certification. (at least I think it's a video). I believe they have to document months of usage of the PROMPT method to become "certified". There aren't that many "certified" therapists, but you can find "bridge" level. If you call the variety of agencies that do EI and CPSE, you will most likely get a therapist.

I can recommend the therapists my dd uses. One of them is certified in the Oceanside area (although she doesn't do many cases) and the other is at the BRIDGE level looking for more work. She does home visits, and mainly works out of an agency in Port Jefferson....let me know if that works for you.
