xpost from parenting i totally forgot to post on pregnancy- might help some: ideas for toys/gifts for siblings from new baby UPDATE
i have two girls one is almost 5 and one is almost 3.....i need ideas for what to get them "from the new baby" when they meet her at the hospital for the first time.....i did it when my first dd met dd#2 in the hospital and it gave her something to play with while she visited and made her feel special since everyone was paying attention to the new baby.....i got her a baby to take care of so i dont want to do that again for either of the girls.....any other ideas?

ETA: So I decided and purchased some cool things that I wanted to offer as ideas for others that might be in the same spot i was in, not knowing what to get their dc's from the new baby..... I got each dd a canvas tote bag that says "world's greatest sister" and then filled the bags with:
Melissa & Doug sticker pads- one with dress up and one with household items for each of them (from amazon)
Melissa & Doug jumbo coloring book for each of them- the one with princesses and I also bought the Melissa and Doug matching princess crown shaped box with crayons inside for each of them (from amazon)
I bought Doc McStuffins figurine playset with all the characters for my older dd and Cinderella figurine playlet for my younger because she is obsessed with the movie lately (from amazon)
and then i found these adorable write and erase-look and find books (with dry erase markers)....i found princesses, elmo and thomas the train from lillian vernon but i couldnt seem to find any other choices anywhere else for some reason.....so i got a princess one each dd and then an elmo one for my younger and thomas the train for my older
so far it looks like the bags will be filled but if I think/find any other cool ideas I'll update

Seriously you are such a good mama!!! Your girls will love their goody bags (and great idea to keep them busy when they visit!!). I can't believe you're only 1 month away!!! OR that I'm only 2 months behind you!! (GULP!) Can't wait to meet your little girl!!

Aw thanks Helen yeah "mommy guilt" is starting early lol it's horrible ..at this point.each of them would get a brand new car if I had the money lol anyway yes u are not far behind sooooofreakin exciting!!!! And I can't wait to meet your  putting my guess in that its a girl :)

you and my coworker are like the only ones saying girl so far!! (although my coworker keeps calling my belly "Sarah" and I keep telling her, that's my niece's name, so there's no way this is a Sarah!! hahaha....she is a little crazy).
