I am sorry to tell you that with my 3 pregnancies, each one of them was insomnia during the entire first trimester. Nothing helped AT ALL But once the first trimester was over, I slept great (that is until the little one inside starts kicking you during sleep).
While many women tend to get m/s - I seem to get insomnia.
It will get better, as frustrating and exhausting as it is.

I'm 31 weeks...so I'm in the home stretch...I just feel so run down and can barely keep my eyes open
