Re: Xpost from Travel - what is that Disney planning/review website?
I like - mousesavers I love that site it gives you all the discounts that are available - for everything from packages, to buying tickets, to car rentals etc. I always start there - and make sure you join their newsletter for special savings NOT on the site that are only open to those who receive the newsletter
Allearsnet.com - gives lists of ride and attraction rehabs and closures, every single menu in WDW for table and counter service and carts (so you can budget or figure out where you want to eat).
disboards.com - great posting board site - there are cast members who are on there so lots of inside info - you will hear about things before they are public often.
I like the Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World - they also have a website - for I think $5 (free if you only want upcoming crowd control if you buy the book) you can get a list of what parks they recommend by date and which to avoid as well as a the crowd level by number so you can figure out how crowded it will be each day. Finally if you pay you can get access to TONS of touring plans that are broken down by categories like - traveling with small children and you have x amount of days.
