xpost: graves disease and ttc-ing

just found out the results of my endocrinologist appt the other day and it says that I most likely have a MILD graves disease....dh and i have started to ttc for dc#2 and I'm starting to worry if, with this disease, I'm going to have trouble.....I will be calling my ob/gyn tomorrow to pick his brain about these results but...

anyone have experience with this disease and trying to get pregnant? please tell me your story, thanks

I had a severe case of Graves disease and I went to Dr Klein and he is the best. I had a radioactive iodine treatment and now i am on synthroid. I had to go to the dr every couple of months for blood work but now I am on synthroid b/c the iodine treatment shrunk my thyroid too much, but the doc says that I am 100% a go for TTC. He says I have nothing to worry about with the thyroid and trying to conceive, I just will have to go see him once a trimester when i get pregnant. HTH

thank you so much girls.....it seems that my numbers are still considered "normal" just a high normal so my endo doc is saying that i most likely have graves disease bc its mildly overactive....and she wants to see me in 2 months....i was going to call my ob bc i want to see if he is ok with me still ttc-ing i really hope so bc what im reading online has got me just
