Xpost: HcG/Progesterone #'s, Help Needed please
On Monday, i tested positive on a HPT. this morning, i tested again with another faint positive. I went in for BW this morning and my RE just called me back and let me know that my HcG levels were only 25 (which is low as they would like it to be at about 50) and that my Progesterone was at 14 (and i guess they would like it to be at 15 or more) They called in Progesterone supp's fo rme so i take my first one tonight.
Honestly, do these numbers seem too low? i know i won't know anything for sure until Thursday afternoon (i'm scheduled for my next BW on Thursday morning) but has anyone had any experience with numbers this low and had a viable pregnancy? When i check the charts online, they show that i am within range, but not according to my RE.
I really really hope this sticks, i could really use some advise and prayers right about now

Don't stress yet. The important thing is that your hcg doubles. As for the progesterone, my progesterone was down to 12.1 with my dd and she is now 9 months (I was on prometrium pills) brought it up. I will be for you!!

My first round of bloodwork this pregnancy had my hcg at 22 and my progesterone at 9.7 at about 4&1/2 weeks......it slowly climbed and honestly my progesterone, even with suppositories and then promethium only ever went up to a 14. I'm 16+ weeks now and all seems aok! Stay positive.....sending you a million good vibes!

I'm so sorry you're going through this!
How many DPO are you? If I remember correctly, you're only 14 dpo. In that case, I think your numbers are a little low, but not terrible. As long as your HCG doubles on Thursday I think you'll be fine. I know it's nerve-wracking but just try to remain calm between now and then. You should have some answers then.
ETA: Someone told me the 2nd beta is more important than the first, and this is true. I'm you get good numbers on Thursday.

I agree with pp not to stress yet (much easier said than done). At 14dpo my prog. was also 14. I started supps. from before I even got first round of bw back due to prior losses and 2 days later it was up to 22. I'm now 30w and doing well. As far as HCG, you can't really stress the first #, just look for it to double next round. Best of luck to you!

My HCG was 25 and my progesterone was 3 at 14dpo. I was certain there was no hope, fought the nurse about going on PIO (I had just had 2 chemicals with better #'s starting out!!). DD is 9 months now, so think positive
