You mentioned she has ocd. They like to do things a certain way or will literally "freak" I should know because I was treated for it.
If you got her a gift card for a massage, would she get one? Or get her a gift card for a mani /pedi.

I wish.... she can't even find the time to do her laundry except for at 11pm... I know b/c I'm usually standing next to her talking with her while she's doing it!!!
This is my problem.... I wish I could find something simple to help her with or do for her.... I'm at a loss....

I can only suggest just being there for her. Sometimes that's all you need - to know someone is there to listen or have a glass of wine with.
Maybe just play with the kids with her there so she can get her cleaning done?
You are a great friend for trying to help, sorry I don't have better ideas for you. Hope things get better for her soon

It's so hard to get ideas.... I know... I've been racking my brain to try and get them myself.
She mentioned to me that she wants to go to the beach sans kids.... Maybe I'll pay her older DD to keep an ear out for the kids after we put them to bed, and I'll steal her out for a beach run.
Other than that.... I've got nothing. Her DD's thankfully are such easy going kids. You give them a sippy cup, and ask them to go down to the basement to play and they can be there for hours.... It's a child's playroom dream down there!

she loves flowers decorating the house, but she isn't a fan of bouquets.... lol - yes, she's the difficult friend! c'mon - you all know that you have one! haha

The only thing I can think of, and it may be hard is:
Is there anyway you can take her DD's overnight? Present her with a GC for her and her DH to try and have dinner out (or order in) and have a night to themselves?

That wouldn't be a problem Dawn.... except for one thing - her DH doesn't get home til 10 or 11 in the evening most nights, and USUALLY has a 6 am start.... Which means that he has to be up @ 4.
That's one of the things that makes it so hard for her - her DH isn't 'there'...
