My mother in law warned me of this...it sounds scary..lol...I'm going to the Jersey shore for a week and plan on wearing a hat...although I do love a good tan!

Re: XPost: Mask of Pregnancy
Please tell me I am not alone.... but I have noticed some discoloration from bleaching so I have stopped doing that - and am very fearful about waxing now too.... So I am a plucking maniac.....
If I am out in the sun - I am using spf 45... which has been fine - but my skin got super dry.
I have not been to a dermotolgist - just trying to cover any discoloration with makeup... it's not too bad at the moment - but doubt that I will let anyone see me without makeup.... a bit self consious. I just started using Aveeno moisturizer and that seems to be working well ... for me, for the time being....

Re: XPost: Mask of Pregnancy
what i have isn't the classic 'mask", but i have a few dark spots on my cheekbones from going out in the sun with SPF 50
mind you, i have olive skin that doesn't burn, and i definitely don't do the tanning thing. so it kinda came out of left field.
i'm hoping the spots fade once my hormones normalize. if not i will be seeing a dermatologist
