What are signs or symptoms that the baby is coming? I am very crampy right now and I have stabbing pains in my back but I didnt lose my mucous plug and the baby is still not that low IMO.

sounds like it might be starting. you don't have to lose your mucuous plug or break your water, just try to time your contractions. how many weeks are you?

Re: Xpost-pregnancy: baby progression
I was very crampy, like AF cramps, as the pain instensified, i knew i was in labor.
I didn't lose my plug either til i was in full blown labor in the hospital. the day i went into labor i was only 1 cm dilated and 60% effaced and baby was head down, but not that low.
It could be coming. Start timing the cramping, if they start coming at intervals, irregular or regular you'll know.
Mine started at 15 minutes apart, and by that night they were 5-6 minutes a part when i went to the hospital.
Good luck!

I am 38 weeks I have an internal tonite. Will they be able to tell me if I am in labor or will I have to time them on my own?
