I would probably stop speaking to both of them. I had a similar situation with a best friend and ex-boyfriend. The ex cheated on me and it was a terrible situation. Long story, but basically my mother was the one who busted him and had to tell me
So my best girl friend is now best friends with him and I no longer speak to either of them. Knowing what he put me and my family through, I didn't know how she could want to even speak to him. No one needs toxic friends like that!

That's funny for me to think about because they didn't really like each other.
Buttt in any other case, I would not be happy about it at all. In fact, I would be absolutely furious. Even more so at the best friend. There's just some lines you do not cross.
