XPost...Restaurant Rec. Please.
DH hits me with "Maybe we should have the Christening in a restaurant".
this AM.
I already printed up one invite with a 'house" party, now he's thinking of changing his mind.
I would need a room that holds at least 50-60 people.
TIA for all your help.

I looked at the hall in Hewett Sqaure which is really nice but you have to do your own catering plus $8.00 for the bar per person and the hall rental.
La Casa down in Crabmeadow and they were priced well.
105 Harbor in Cold Spring Harbor does a fabulous job at a really good price.
Nocello's is also good and reasonable.

Aww thank you so much. I love Nocello's but am afraid it may be a bit too small.
Did you have DD's Christening yet? Where did you have it?
I forgot about the hall. Maybe I will look into that too. Would be convenient our church is right there.
I will look up 105 Harbor too.

I did have Molly's christening already. I had it at Rockhill CC.
Nocello's is pretty big so it would definitely hold that many people. There is also that Italian restaurant across from the post office, Villa something or other, that would have enough room for your party.

105 harbor is great, but they don't have an elevator to the second where the party would be. I don't know if that is a problem

We're having my sister's Bridal Shower at 105 Harbor (also had my RD their). Good food & service and they're reasonable in price.
I went to Mim's in Syosset for the first time on Saturday and I really enjoyed their food!!!!
I also like Ruvo in Greenlawn and they do private parties.
If you're looking for something even more reasonable in price, there's always Meehan's in Huntington Village. They have a private room.
I like Prime in Huntington Village and they have a private room, but I was really disappointed with their sales person. We called to get a quote for a private party and it took them over a week to get back to us. As a result, we crossed them off the list for parties.
