Yappy Hour in Huntington
I got this e-mail and thought it was a cute idea - if anyone is interested.
LI-DOG INVITES YOU AND YOUR DOGS
TO ?YAPPY HOUR?
AT LILA?S IN HUNTINGTON VILLAGE
Dear fellow dog owners,
LI-DOG is happy to announce that it will host a Yappy Hour at Lila?s Santa Fe Kitchen in Huntington Village on Thurs., Aug. 17th from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Yappy Hour will take place in the picnic area in front of the restaurant.
Like any other happy hour at Lila?s, we get two-for-one drinks and discounts on appetizers, but because of our four-legged companions, we also get plenty of bowls of fresh water and treats!
This is our second Yappy Hour at Lila?s?we hosted our first event in July (visit our website at www.lidog.org to see the article and photos). Everyone had such a good time we?re doing it again!
We?re planning a couple of new things for this Yappy Hour and we?ll send out more details a few days before the event, but for now, here?s what you need to know:
DATE: Thurs., August 17th
TIME: 5 until 8 p.m.
PLACE: Lila?s Santa Fe Kitchen Restaurant
345 Main St. (Please note: Entrance is actually on Gerard Street
off the big parking lot opposite the Huntington Post Office. There?s
a row of restaurants on the west end of the lot.)

If I'm not having a baby, I think I'll take my little furbabies down there! I would love to meet Gerty and Ariella as well as everyone else.

i stopped by to the one in july but didn't have my dog w/ me. i plan on going to this one as well but not sure if my dog would be able to handle it. it is a very small area and it is right next to the parking lot. it got very crowded last time (about 40 + people) so if your dog has issues w/ being in close quarters w/ a lot of activity around them, it may not be best to bring him/her.
