Yay - we saw the heartbeat!!!
We were so excited and relieved - everything looks good and I was released from my RE - we are 7 and 1/2 weeks. He told me to make my first appt. with the OB - its set for July 2nd, I'll be 9/12 weeks- should I go sooner than that? The RE didn't tell me - if anyone who went to an RE can tell me when they first went to the OB?

Very exciting!!!! I saw my OB around 9 weeks also...was released at 7 or so from my RE.

I saw my OB at 10 weeks. My RE wanted to release me at 8 weeks but I asked to come back at 9 weeks because waiting another two weeks to see them seemed too long to me LOL.
My OB will see people for the first time between 8-10 weeks. Congrats!

My first visit to the ob was at 9 weeks (about 2.5 weeks after last re visit).
