Yay!! Get to go for a sono this week!
I have to go for a sono since size is measuring greater than date - so I guess it's a growth sono. I am so excited to see my munchkin...and I am definitely asking for them to confirm the sex. 
I have a feeling that her size is fine and the extra cm are me  but that's okay as long as I get to see her again.

That's so great!
Stupid question - but how do they know that the baby is measuring ahead if they don't do a sono? Is it by measuring the belly? When we went a few weeks ago they said he was also measuring two weeks ahead - I just wasn't sure if they would check that again or not.

Stupid question - but how do they know that the baby is measuring ahead if they don't do a sono? Is it by measuring the belly? When we went a few weeks ago they said he was also measuring two weeks ahead - I just wasn't sure if they would check that again or not.
Yeah - at my last three apts the doctor measures with some plastic thing - and each time she has mentioned that the baby might be big. Yesterday she measured 34 cm where it should be 30 cm for the date. So off to LIJ I go for a sono to get a better estimate.
