Re: Yay! My chocolate was a big hit!

1 pound each of white, milk and dark chocolate (I used the ghiradelli chocolate chips)

I melted each chocolate seperately in the microwave and stirred at each 30 second interval to avoid burning. I added just a few drops of peppermint oil in each batch.

On a cookie sheet with parchment paper I poured the dark chocolate in. Once evenly distributed, I added the milk chocolate, but I poured it in a zig zag pattern. Same zig zag pouring of the white chocolate. Then with a spoon I stirred the chocolates together so it would get that wood bark look. Finally I sprinkled crushed candy canes on top. I covered it with plastic wrap and let it sit in the fridge for about 3 hours.
Once set, cover with a kitchen cloth and beat it with a meat mallet to break it into pieces. Voila!! Chat Icon

Silly question....Does the chocolate have to be poured over parchment paper - can I use wax paper? (or are they the same)
