Really depends on the rest of the furniture in the room, it is a very solid piece

Mainly we have light cream carpets, and a blue couch. We also have a loveseat papasan with a green pillow but that is temporary and will be given away the next time we move.
Are you thinking not to mix the table with other wood pieces?

Yeah, that is pretty much what I was getting at. Wood goes with any colors, what I was thinking is if you have other shades of wood in the same room does it go? Also with a solid piece like that, when you walk in the room is that the first thing the eye will see? It is really nice, just thinking about the rest of the look
