I got one at children's place but i am not seeing it online anymore. It was cordury type material with a really warm fleece like lining and a hood.

LL Bean, Land's End, Hanna Andersson all have awesome fleece jackets

Bump with another question...

For those of you who don't use heavy jackets for the car, what do you use? What about a heavy fleece, not jacket, and then you use the winter coat once they get out (unless its quickly walking in somewhere).

Can you post a pic of your DC's please, thanks I'm kind of lost Chat Icon

For the past couple of years I always buy the 3-in-1 winter jacket from The Childrens Place and always put DS in his car seat with it on. It's not too puffy and I make sure the straps are still tight.

Lands End has Squall Parka and Jackets (with warmth ratings) they are non puffy and very warm. They are safe to wear in the car seat (it was the jacket recommended by my car seat installer).
