yes another crock pot ?? Programable?
Just for me or up to 3 people is the 2 Qt large enough?
what size does everyone have?
Programmable or Manuel?
manuel I assume I must start when I leave the house vs setting a time.
I see a few costing as low as $20.00

yes another crock pot ?? sizes
We are a family of 3 and I have a 5qt. My DD doesn't eat anything from the crockpot so it's just the two of us and I always make enough for leftovers. Mine is a manual but I'm a sahm so I'm always around to keep my eye on it.

It depends on what you plan to cook in it. If you plan to do a roast or a pork shoulder, etc I'd go bigger. Personally I think you may regret found with just a 2 quart. I always have had a manual. Now I'm home so I can start things later but even when I was gone 12 hours a day it was fine but I'm sure the programmable would have been nice. I assume they start cooking immediately and then switch to warm after a set amount of time.

I have a larger size one. Right now my children are young and don't eat anything from it, but I think that will change in the next few years. You can always buy a smaller, less expensive one to try it out and upgrade if you love it.

We're a family of 4, I have a programmable 6qt. I wouldn't bother with anything smaller, this one is a great size for roasts and other large cuts of meat. I have an oval shaped one which I love!

does programmable mean I can start the cooking process when I want? online it looks like programmable just means how long I want it to take to cook?

Is going to start right away and then switch to warm after the set time. You wouldn't want to put raw meat in there and then have it sit for a few hours before cooking. It will cook right away and then keep it warm until you turn it off so that it keeps it at a safe temperature.
