Yes, I know I am as big as a house...
but do you find it necessary to stare at my obvious VERY pregnant stomach and make comments such as "OMG you're huge" "are you having twins" "please don't have your baby now I don't want to deliver it" Why don't people have anything nice to say about a very pregnant woman like "you look fabulous". It's bad enough I have to deal with the stomach hindering my every move and making touching my toes next to impossible but I really dont need the lip from total strangers!!!

Im sure they dont mean it in a bad way 
I remember when I couldnt get PG wanting to hear these things so bad. Someone has already said to me Im huge..and I loved the comment.
So I dont think people know when you will like to hear this or wont like to hear it

"I see your stomach, what trimester are you in? THE FOURTH?" "Oh, you're not pregnant? Then what's YOUR excuse?" and walk away.
OK, I know that's mean but you have to admit it would be funny

i'm the same way, donna!! anytime people say, "wow, you're really getting bigger," i start to beam and show off my belly more!
but to op, sorry the comments offended you, no woman should feel insulted about her body, especially a pregnant one!

I agree 1 comment is acceptable but it was like 4 people who work at Staples who just wouldn't quit. Yes, believe me I know how big I am, I live with it.

Well at Target they wanted to know if I needed a gift receipt -- and looked shocked when I said no, it's for me. Apparently people think only young women get pg.
So, I too would be happy to get those kinds of comments (about my belly), as opposed to utter shock to hear that I am the one who is pregnant!

I always found it amazing that people felt free to comment on how I "gained weight all over". I felt like my body was public property to speculate on if I was having twins, ask if I was going to breastfeed, how big my crotch was (ok that was my mom asking if I was dialated but I pointed out it was asking the same thing).
Other than saying you look terrific, no one should comment on anyone's appearance.

Well, I'm 22 weeks and I had TWO people ask if it was twins today.
But I also had two people comment on how I hardly look pregnant at all today.
Neither of them bothered me. I know people are just stupid and like to hear themselves talk.
