Yes, I'm shameless. Shamelessly Feminine...
The amazing Jennifer Rozenbaum of Jenerations did a project this summer. To photograph women who literally ALWAYS wear makeup - with no makeup. I don't know what made me volunteer. But I did. And I ALWAYS wear makeup.
She finally put the finished product up on her blog. Another poster here participated too but I'll let her out herself 
I'm pretty proud of myself for doing this. Even though I don't love how I look in these pictures, I love that I did it and that I'm brave enough to share it.

I volunteered to do this. But she ended up changing the days and I couldn't make it.

You look great. I love the idea. I have a friend who I would have pushed to do this. She is so pretty but she is really uncomfortable with the idea of people seeing her without makeup.
I was invited to a friend's facebook group that is only for breast cancer patients. She asked me to answer disability benefits questions. The women often post photos to show how cancer has changed them. Many of them are bald and some are very pale. Some show a lot of their now altered bodies. I often think to myself that without the hair and makeup I see right through their eyes into the strength they have mustered to fight their disease. I feel like I can look at those pictures and immediately see who is a good person. It's so hard to explain. They do not encourage membership for anyone who is not a patient so I say very little outside of what I am there for but I wish I could tell them how much their pictures touch me. What I usually do is to just add a sentence or 2 of encouragement when I answer a question that I am tagged on.
Sorry to ramble but if my experience on that board helps anyone, that would be great.
