DH is getting to the age where he can put things in his mouth and I have done ZERO homework on this topic.....

i believe there were toy recalls (FisherPrice) a few months back due to lead exposure...

All the toys that were recalled were mostly for older kids but it started a rash of worry that ALL toys made in China had a high lead count. I will be honest DD still has her a lot of stuff that was made in china and chewed on them all.

At first I tried to find ones that weren't made in China, but it's HARD! But, I try to do what I can, for example, I only buy teethers made in China if I can put them in the dishwasher, or soft toys made in China if I can put them in the washer. I don't know if it even helps, but it can't hurt. SOOO MUCH is made in China, it's hard. I looked at DD's spoons yesterday (Gerber), and they're made in China   I can't win!
