Some babies stop going as frequently. I'm sure DC is fine. My son went through a period where he only went every 3 or 4 days. Now he's back to 1 or 2 times a day. Before that though he was going about 8 times a day!!

I posted on one of your other threads about this a few days ago but it is very normal. Breastmilk is almost fully digested with very little waste (not much to poop out). Also, your baby is getting older & his digestive system is getting more mature (stomach & intestines can hold more).

As long as there are a lot of wet diapers & the poop is normal color/consistency when it does come out, he is fine & there is no need to try & get the poop out.

My ds is 6 wks & he usually poops every 2-3 days but it is alot when it comes out.

Try not to worry, your breast milk is doing it's job

DS was like this about a week or so ago. It took a few days till he got completely back to normal. Don't worry. My ped. also said to use 1 ounce of prune juice with an ounce of water once a day for a few days till he was regular again. That worked wonders too.
