Yesterday I was complaining about my hospital co payment but then I just got my bill for the c-section...
I am now ok with the $250 co payment My bill was $14,000 for the c-section and $7,000 for NICU. And so many other little bills here and there.
Thank goodness for insurance

It's expensive!
My Co payment was 500 Bucks. I added up all the insurance stuff paid it came to liek 18k, I had a vaginal delivery.
Thank goodness for insurance is right!

Wow...
With Caiden, my co-pay was $250 and the C-section was $3,500. With this baby the co-pay is now $350 and the C-section is $4,500. Same insurance for both. I thought that was a lot... I guess I was wrong!!! A vaginal birth is $1,000 less.

Wow! My doctor billed insurance $4,500 or $5,500 for my c-section, and I had no co-payment.

I had no co-pay but when I added up my dr, the c-section and the NICU and testing for her it was over $50,000

it is soo expensive. I dont know how people do it w/o insurance.

I have no copay but when i got my expalnation of benefits they charged $4000 for the nursery. I find that ridiculous because I was Bf so my DD was with me the entire time at the hospital with the exception of when they took her there to measure and weigh her again and give her a bath. that was one expensive bath!!! She was away from me for a total hour!!!

Man, if you think that is bad, I paid about 3000 out of pocket, and the insurance paid over 150,000 for my c-section, my 3 day inducement, my son's heart procedure, one week in the NICU, as well as my other son's 29 day stay and then later on he had a piece of his colon removed where he was in the hospital for a week.
I am so glad we had insurance and figure 3000 for all that was a bargain, even though I complained about it when paying it.
