Yoga
I have never done it but would love to give it a try. I have no idea where to go. I am in the Port Jeff area. I would love it if my 10 year old could do it with me also. Do any of these type of places have babysitting for my youngest DD.

Re: Yoga
I'm not that far East, but my studio I believe you have to be at least 12 and they definitely do not have babysitting.
I also go to Bikram yoga which is pretty intense which is probably why there's an age level on it.
Maybe check out a gym? I would think they would have babysitting.
I do know that some yoga studios do have classes geared to moms and daughter's though.
Sorry I'm not that helpful!
I love the fact that I can get a break from my DS (and DH my other kid) at yoga class.

Re: Yoga
If you want to find a program you can do w/ your DD, check out the programs for your local library, town and school district. My library has yoga for 3 different age groups at least once a month.
I don't know any of the yoga studios in that area. I go to a Barkan Hot Yoga studio in Commack. There is not baby sitting. The age limit is 12 (although I heard one of the owners talking to a parent today and she said that 10 is OK as long as they don't have ADHD or some other conditions~ I only overheard a part of the conversation.)
The best place to do yoga if you want babysitting services, is at a gym. I don't think that most studios offer that service since the clientele is so much smaller in comparison.
