Yoga or Pilates?

Which do you prefer and why?

Are the results/benefits different?

Re: Yoga or Pilates?

for me Pilates was more challenging. yoga was a bit boring for me. I like both but for results and challenge I like pilates.

Re: Yoga or Pilates?

I think it depends on the instructor. I have taken amzingly challenging yoga classes that leave me sore for days.
and I have taken more calming stretching yoga.

Pilates is challenging, but I find it does not hit every muscle.
