You know those plastic ice packs
I think ours are called Freeze Paks...they're little not-quite brick shaped things that stay cold after they've been in the freezer. Anyway, does anyone know if they have to LIVE in the freezer, or can we store them somewhere else until we need them? DH has 7 of them (I don't know why) and they take up too much room. TIA!

Well, you buy them at room temp. I keep them in another place until we need them.

I keep them in the pantry until I need them. 24 hours before using them I throw them in the freezer. Unfortunately I usually forget and end up using ice cubes!
