You know what I hate sometimes?
The fact that my husband has no opinion on things. I just wish one time he would say, "Honey, we're going to XYZ restaurant for dinner" or "I'd really like XYZ for dinner tonight". Is that too much to ask for? I feel like I have to be a mind reader. It's getting to be a very annoying task

I know how you feel. My DH has turned the phrase "I don't know" into an indistinguishible-to-anyone-but-me grunt!

"What do you want for dinner?" "I don't know, what do you want?"
We can do that for hours!

Re: You know what I hate sometimes?
I mean, everyone tells me, "Oh, you should feel lucky because MY dh is difficult", but him having no opinion IS being difficult to me. Sometimes I want to be taken care of and I feel like making ALL the decisions, even down to what's for dinner, is me having to take care of him.
Oh, also, I apologize because I thought I posted this on the relationship board.

OMG, I could have written this. Whenever I ask DH what he wants to do or eat, or whatever, he says, "I don't know." I usually reply, "Well, THINK ABOUT IT!" It drives me nuts. If I didn't plan things and make decisions, we would seriously do nothing and never have dinner.

my husband is a creature of habit and loves gfoing to the same places
not like i mind but hes not big on variety thus knows exactly what he wants!

I feel that! My DH is the same way. He will RARELY if ever say "I want porkchops for dinner"......sometimes not having to decide what to make would be nice!!!
I don't mind making it....just say what you want darn it!!!!

Yeah whenever we go out to eat, I ask him where he wants to go and he says, where do you want to go?

Re: You know what I hate sometimes?
I used to do the "I don't care" response a lot, until I noticed that it really annoyed DW. I've admitted to her that now, even if I don't have a decision, I'll sometimes pick the first choice she gives me, or the first one alphabetically, just so it appears I have an opinion.... She's happier, and I'm happier because she's happier, and I still don't have to make a real decision....
