.... your dinner the night before consists of:
2 peices of toast (with butter!!)
1 reeses PB cup

I routinely eat cereal or pop tarts for dinner. I laugh whenever my mother asks what we cook during the work week. Cook? What's that?

me too!!! It's so funny, sometimes I'll be talking to my mom and she'll ask me what I made for dinner, and I'm like, "ummm nothing!" and she doesn't get it. I don't even know if I could call it "dinner" more like just grabbing whatever is around. I was just thinking to myself the other night that if I ever have kids, I'd have to actually take the time to cook a real dinner!

I ate out of tupperware in front of the tv on a snack tray 
I do enjoy cooking but not necessary every night!
It's funny b/c MIL never does or did anything but cook and clean, (complete opposite of me)
and when he is home on a saturday he asks me what's for lunch? Are you F'ing kidding!!!!!!

omg same here!! MIL was a SAHM so DH is totally used to someone basically picking up after his every move and cooking breakfast lunch and dinner for him on a regular basis..... which i guess one day i'll HAVE to do when we do eventually have kids.... but i cant even think of being in that mind frame right now lol
when DH asks me whats for lunch on the weekends, im just like, ummm cant you just have a bowl of cereal?? lol

You guys just made me feel a ton better. I desperately need to go food shopping (but keep putting it off), but I did run to the store for lime juice so I could have my patron on the rocks!

SOOOO RIDICULOUS!!!!! IDK I think its a children of SAHM thing b/c my mother worked and we never had a "hot lunch"

You are all too funny. We cook simple things almost every night( tonight was burgers, last night pork chops), but we do eat in front of the TV, and it usually isn't until around 8, so I always think that if we had kids, we'd be eating pop tarts & Doritos, because we'd be too busy to cook.

By the way, we eat in front of the TV also. We didn't even have a kitchen table and chairs in our last apartment. We do now but we use it to collect crap unless we have company.
