You want to hear about a furniture nightmare....

Okay it took me forever to find a bedroom set and i finally did...from everythingfurniture.com. I was real hesitant to order from a website because our dining set came about 4 months after they promised...but was pleasently surprised when they called me March 26th to deliver the furniture (I ordered it March 1st). So the day they come my sister in law is here (i could not be here) and said the dresser was splintered it was so damaged and she rejected the whole delivery. When i called them to re order...they gave me attitude about why I didn't take the good pieces. I was like i am not accepting anything in case you charge me for something. So of course they charge my credit card bill right after ordering.

So the next delivery comes....with the stuff from the original order not damaged. The bed frame is fine but both end tables are damaged. They take them back and I reorder.

The next delivery has our dresser and dresser mirror. The dresser is okay but the mirror is shattered. They take it back.

The next delivery comes and one end table is chipped...but the other end table is fine. So now i have the dresser, one end table, and bed frame.

They come again yesterday with the mirror and end table and the END TABLEs LEG IS BROKEN!!! The mirror is fine.

So now they have to come back a 5th time to deliver this set. I called up the company and I was like listen you better get a better delivery company because they suck! This is going to be the fourth end table you are ordering for me. The guy tried to get me to write that the box was not damaged to save their hide and i said no. The woman was apologetic on the phone but offered no discount. If it comes damaged the next time I am going to try and get a refund at least for one end table.

RIDICULOUS!

report them to the BBB. you can do it online for free. after the second time my fingers would have been doing the talking to BBB, I have used them before and in less than a week my issues were resolved and with $$$ back. its def worth a shot, and tell them first you are reporting them to see if they will do something if not write !

So, not only does the delivery company stink so does the customer service.

Any company should offer a discount after a customer has been patient enough to go through 4 delivery attempts without completely losing their cool.

Even if this last delivery comes fine I would call back and request to speak to a supervisor. There is no reason they shouldn't give you a 15% credit for the inconvenience!
