you'll never believe what one of our neighbors said!!
so my DH is walking the dogs this morning, as usual, and all of a sudden this old man busts out of his house and starts yelling at DH, saying "I don't appreciate your letting your dogs pee on my bushes!!"
so DH says, "with all due respect, there are wild animals all over this neighborhood who pee AND poop in your bushes... but now that i know it bothers you i'll keep my dogs away".
and the man replies, "well, you won't appreciate it when your dogs get CUT IN HALF".
?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!
could you EVER even IMAGINE having that THOUGHT, let alone SAYING it to someone as some kind of THREAT?!?!
i am SO MAD, not to mention terrified of this lunatic. i've already warned all my neighbors who have animals

I can understand him being annoyed about your dog urinating on his bushes. I would be annoyed as well. However, that being said, his response to your husband, was way out of line. I would give this person a wide berth. I, also, would have called the police and let them know that a threat had been made and, even if they didn't do anything, it would have, at least, been on record. This guy is a nut.

i see your point. most people don't care about urine in the bushes, but some people do, and i get that. but yeah, his response was way extreme. all he had to do was ask in a civil tone that we not walk our dogs in front of his house and DH would have said OK, apologized, and walked away. it was his crazy response that was so shocking!

Definitely report him and keep your dogs away from his house. Better safe than sorry.
People are weird. There is someone on the next block who gives me a lecture everytime she finds poop on her lawn. One time she showed me a pile that looked like horse manure. I told her that if that came out of my little wiener dog, I would surely be shocked and take him right to the vet!! I hate the fact that she has won her little battle but I do not take Oscar by her house anymore. The rest of the neighborhood loves my dog and they all see me use the poop baggies.

i know, some people really ARE strange... we pick up our dogs' poop religiously, while there are other people in our neighborhood who don't - some neighbors let their dogs wander the neighborhood, off leash, so i can only imagine what THEY do all over lawns!! so i totally resent that WE got targeted by that crazy man... and not even for poop, but for pee!

REPORT HIM ASAP- I just saw on the news a yorkie got shot in front of his house sitting on the stoop on staten island. someone put a letter in the mail box about the dog always barking. a threat was made and now the dog is dead.
