I thought some of you redoing your bathrooms right now might want to see what they did (DIY) and how much they spent. It's gorgeous.

Ohh i love it! Totally changed my mind with the subway tiles. I was up in the air over plain subway vs beveled and i am digging the plain now. Our bathroom would be larger then that but setup in that way.
The only thing I didn't care for is that they removed the door in the linen closet. I have open shelves too (bigger opening like 28 inches) and I HATE that everyone get's to see all of our stuff. I mean they have it all nice and neat but where the hell are they putting our their meds, extra supplies, feminine stuff, hair products? LoL
We found out material will cost roughly for a 5x7 bath $2000 with just doing tile in a tub area. This is tub/toilet/vainty/tiles/accesories for bathroom, sheet rock, etc. Its all labor your being charged *unless you get really expensive tile/vanity. There are people who are out there that will gut/redo an entire bath for 3-4K labor so that is a 5/6K bathroom. As you see if you do it yourself how little it is - but i still would never do plumbing and electric work. Demo is one thing!

I saw it earlier today on their blog. I love it but I don't love that they kept a shower curtain, and I really don't like the closet idea. while it looks nice, its really not functional. and considering the tiny little draw in the sink, they have no place to put all their bathroom stuff. I could never survive in that bathroom  I have to much stuff!
I think that's the only bathroom in their house too!

They did such a great job. I love their site and enjoy reading about their adventures. I cannot wait to they start on the nursery! I due in April and I need some ideas for  's room. I know they'll come up with some great, affordable ideas.

I was surprised they didn't get a new shower curtain too. I love the closet idea too, but I couldn't survive either. Where do you put all your personal stuff? I like the organization of it, but I would have to have a door on it. 
They have a 1/2 bath also. It's the bathroom with the stripes.
