Your First AF after the baby was born...
I just got my 1st AF since the baby was born. I'm 10 weeks PP. I'm in SO much pain. The cramping is so much worse than normal and AF has already lasted 8 days!! Normally it only lasts 3-4.
Did you girls experience a worse than normal AF after you had your baby?
I had a c-section, don't know if that has anything to do with it but I'm still taking Motrin every day for the pain of AF...which is unusual for me too.

Re: Your First AF after the baby was born...
I got my AF back after I had my c/s with Andrew and I was BF and I still got it 7 weeks postpartum. I don't recall it being any different, not heavier and not crampy.
This time around (I had a VBAC), I just got AF (Lauren is 2 months old) and its heavy and I had cramps the first day, but nothing Advil didn't take care of. I certainly hope it doesn't last more than 5 days, its summer after all!

I was told AF will probably change - for worse or better depends on the person. Mine is actually shorter and lighter than before, and less cramps!

Re: Your First AF after the baby was born...
My first AF was weird. I had 5 days of mild cramps then 5 days of AF w/ no cramps. Very weird.
Since then it's been pretty regular. 4-6 days with mild cramping on day 1. Before DD I had more severe cramping for 3 or 4 days.
