Your Happy Place Scrapbooking store is closing!
I got this email tonight
Hi Everyone,
To all our wonderful customers and friends. It is with heartfelt sadness to inform everyone that the door's of Your Happy Place will be closing on Saturday November 15th. This decision was made due to the economic crisis and increased cost's of doing business.
We will continue all classes through November 15th.
Gift certificates will be honored for products and classes through November 15th. They have no cash value.
Effective Wednesday October 22nd through November 15th all merchandise will be discounted at 40%.
For our REGULAR EMAIL CUSTOMERS AND FRIENDS we will discount all purchases starting tonight (we are open till 11pm) with the attached 40% 0ff coupon.
40% off is extended to our wonderful Boutique too. Remember the holidays ladies! It's a no brainer!
ALL PURCHASES ARE FINAL. NO RETURNS ACCEPTED. CASH IS PREFERRED BUT NOT NECESSARY.
YHP is more than a retail store for many of us. It is a friendly place for all of us to come together and share, create, learn, and BOND. I am honored to know so many of you, and witness many wonderful friendships emerge over the past three years. My hope is that we all continue our friendships and create A HAPPY PLACE among us in other ways. We thank you for your patronage. OUR CUSTOMERS ARE THE BEST! Lots of Love from all of us at YHP :)

I just got the same e-mail.  . I had heard that Donna, the owner, took a daytime job but I really thought it was just to supplement the income. It's got to be a tough business. The SB store in Sayville was so nice but she could not compete with the big chains. The SB store in Babylon is expanding, though and there are still a few small SB stores running strong. This one will be a huge loss and I am sorry to see it go. If anyone would like me to forward them the coupon, please FM. I am sure that the final purchases can only help and they have such great merchandise.

You don't need the coupon. They have a ton of stamps left, but everything else (besides paper) is slim pickings.
