Gifts, b-days, anniversaries, etc...whose responsibility are they?
For Xmas, I bought DH's BF's baby a gift but I thought they were coming to NY. The didn't come and he JUST saw the gift and asked why I never mailed it.

Me. But he would do it. But I would have to remind him ten times so it's just easier for me to do it myself!

Re: Your spouse's friends...are they your SO's responsibility or yours?
After years of stressing out about his friends and family birthdays, etc. I decided to give it up.
It was increased pressure I was putting on myself - he never asked me to do it and didn't seem to care if it didn't get done.
If he doesn't feel the need to do it I shouldn't and I just had to come to terms with that. I'll remind him if dates are coming and that's it.

That I do, too. And when it comes to his family, I'm on him even more AND we'll shop together. It just ticks me off that he's ****** at me for not mailing the gift when he wasn't exactly doing backflips to buy a gift in the first place.
